How to Root karbonn A1+ android smartphone

Android rooting is process of allowing user of smartphones, tablets or other devices running the android OS to attain privileged control over mobile's subsystems and unlock the restriction set by manufacturers.

After rooting your android you can make any changes with your android OS file system.

Benefits of rooting your android devices

  1. You can remove unwanted built-in system applications known as bloatware .
  2. You can increase clock speed of 1GHZ processor as high as 1.6GHZ ,in some cases. you can use software like SetCPU to change the processor clock speed.
  3. You can install custom ROM os that comes with the additional feature and fixes that is not available in your current ROM. CyanogenMod is custom ROM gives you a intelligent control over your phones features and themes.
  4. You can improve phones battery life by removing unwanted applications that hinder performances. There are many software available on web that allow you to remove unnecessary software in secure way.
  5. increase memory and performance of your androids.

For rooting your android you need some application binaries that install to your phone for rooting procedure and access the file system.

Prerequisites for Rooting Androids

  1. Superuser binary
  2. BusyBox
  3. ADB (Advanced Debug Bridge) command line.
  4. USB driver for your windows OS.
  5. USB cable for your phone.

All Above prerequisites comes with SuperOneClick rooting software you can download it here SuperOneClick 2.3.3. There are lots of other software you can use for rooting.

Start Rooting your Android

After downloading SuperOneClick follow the below steps.

  1. Connect your phone to PC via usb cable.
  2. Enable Setting -> Application settings -> Developements -> USB Debugging on your device.
  3. Enable USB Mass Storage, so SuperOneClick can install binaries on memory card(if you have) or phone.
  4. Start SuperOneClick, Click Check Driver on advanced tab.
  5. Check device manager for driver installed properly, if not install it manually from SuperOneClick folder.
  6. Click Root button on General tab.

SuperOneClick execute exploit script on your android for get root access to system and install Superuser binary on phone after getting root access. you will get complete msg on SuperOneClick console when rooting process complete. your phone had superuser installed if root was successful.

I tried this procedures with Karbonn A1+ android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. thanks....

  2. hey its stuck on step 7 and when i click on CHECK DRIVERS nothing happens and where did you get the drivers of the phone ...... i dont have it please help. i miserably want my phone rooted

    1. download usb adm driver for and install it in your pc.i think driver comes with SuperOneClick..

  6. Need help to install drivers for Karbonn A34 tablet. My computer does not recognize the device and could not find USB drivers on their website. DO let me know if anyone has links.

    2. hey nikhil have you tried "usb ADB driver". as per my test this one is universal usb driver for any android devices.

  9. if is there problem to connect your mobile with usb cable. try "RNdis" driver before using ADM Drivers, check in device manager for "rndis" is not undefined.
